Tea tree oil is a summer must-have! With all its natural properties, it’s perfect for the warmer weather and everything that comes with it.
Bugs and Bites

Tea Tree oil is effective against mosquitoes, flies, and midges. You can make your own insect repellent spray by combining a few drops of tea tree oil and water, or drop a few drops on a rag in the area you want to remain bug-free.
Tea Tree oil is also effective against ants. Apply a thin layer of tea tree over any ant trails.
If you didn’t manage to repel them in time and you’ve already been nibbled, Tea Tree oil can ease the discomfort of bug bites. Its natural properties are known for reducing redness and itching.
Natural Deodorant

Tea Tree oil can be used to make a safe and effective deodorant. Antimicrobial and antifungal properties make Tea Tree oil effective against body odour. Tea Tree oil should not be applied directly to the skin and should be diluted with a carrier oil such as coconut oil or olive oil.
Mix a drop or two with warm water to rinse any intimate areas that may need a freshen up on a sunny day.
Fresh Feet

Tea Tree oil is also used for deodorising feet. Applied directly, its antibacterial and antifungal properties are effective for nail fungus and athletes foot. Sweaty feet can benefit from a foot rinse in water and Tea Tree oil, and don’t forget to add a few drops to smelly shoes!
Hand Sanitiser

It’s still important to keep those hands clean, so add a few drops to your hands for protection against illness-causing bacteria and viruses.
Minor Cuts and Scrapes

Tea Tree oil will disinfect a small wound, helping to protect from any infections.
Continue to use Tea Tree oil on a wound to boost healing and decrease healing time. It can be used by adding a few drops to a new plaster or dressing when applied.
Fight Acne

Has the sun got you feeling sweaty and caused some breakouts? Tea Tree oil is as effective as spot cream. Mixed with water and applied daily, it can reduce the amount and severity of spots.
Psoriasis Flare-Ups

Does the hot weather cause extra itching, or red and scaly skin? Although there is no known cure, Tea Tree oil can help to ease Psoriasis symptoms by mixing with coconut oil and applying a few times a day.
Banish Mould on Fruits and Vegetables

Suns out, salads out! Did you know that rinsing your fruits and vegetables in a water and Tea Tree bath can reduce growth of mould on fruits and vegetables, keeping them fresher for longer? Be sure to rinse and dry produce afterwards before consuming.
